Remote code execution via TIFF integer overflow
Published May 6, 2020 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Out-of-bounds write in Accusoft ImageGear 19.4 through 19.6 allows remote attackers to execute code by supplying a crafted TIFF file. In the igcore19d.dll TIFF path, uncompress_scan_line lets an integer overflow drive fill_in_raster to copy beyond the destination buffer. Processing the malicious file is sufficient, and successful exploitation runs code in the host application's security context.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
