Memory-boundary errors in NVIDIA Virtual GPU Manager 8.x before 8.4, 9.x before 9.4, and 10.x before 10.3 allow local users to compromise hosts. The vGPU plugin fails to confine index- or pointer-based operations to the bounds of an accessed memory or file resource. Low-privileged local access is required; consequences include code execution, privilege escalation, information disclosure, and denial of service, whose failure mode is undisclosed.
