File corruption in NVIDIA Windows GPU Display Driver Control Panel allows local users to escalate privileges or interrupt service. NVIDIA has not published the Control Panel operation, file path, or validation failure that permits corruption of the system file. Local system access with low privileges is required; successful exploitation can alter a protected file, crash or hang the service, or gain higher privileges.
