Improper encryption in F5 BIG-IP allows man-in-the-middle attackers to read or alter high-availability state-mirroring traffic. The default HA pair-mirroring deployment transmits control-plane state over its dedicated mirroring network without requiring TLS. An attacker must gain an on-path position on that network; exposure is limited to mirrored-state confidentiality and integrity, with no reported service interruption.
