Privilege escalation in Symantec SEP before 14.2 RU2 MP1 and SEP SBE before 14.2.5569.2100 allows local users to execute code as SYSTEM. The ccSvc.dll module exposes a COM class method that launches an arbitrary executable without authenticating the caller. Exploitation requires the ability to run low-privileged code on a Windows endpoint and grants full SYSTEM-context code execution.
