Stored XSS via unsanitized test name
Published May 7, 2020 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Stored cross-site scripting in Tecnick.com LTD TCExam 14.2.2 allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript through a crafted test name. The public/code/tce_test_allresults.php page passes the stored test name to F_printTestResultStat(), which renders it without output sanitization. An operator-level account at level 5 or higher must create the test, and the script runs when a user authorized to view its results opens the all-results page.
