Code injection in Grandstream GXP1600 Series firmware 1.0.4.152 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute commands as root. The web interface writes Additional Settings into the OpenVPN configuration without restricting directives, so an injected up command runs after connection. Administrative web credentials and a successful VPN connection are required; execution grants full control of the phone.
