Script execution via administrator-controlled image assets
Published Jun 30, 2020 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Cross-site scripting in Cybozu Garoon 5.0.0 through 5.0.1 allows remote authenticated users to execute script through image assets. The image asset functionality accepts administrator-controlled content that is rendered as script in an administrator's browser; Cybozu has not disclosed the exact input field or faulty output operation. Administrative rights are required to plant the payload, and an administrator must view the affected content, limiting the result to script execution in that user's browser.
