Administrator action forgery
Published May 14, 2020 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
CSRF in Movable Type 7.2.1 and earlier and Premium 1.29 and earlier allows remote attackers to trigger administrator actions. Public advisories do not disclose the affected endpoint or the request-validation operation that accepts attacker-controlled input. Exploitation requires an administrator to remain logged in and view a malicious page, after which unintended administrative operations execute in that session.
