Resource-management errors in MELQIC IU1-1M20-D firmware 1.0.7 and earlier allow remote attackers to halt networking or execute malware. The TCP/IP stack mishandles resources while processing specially crafted packets, but public advisories do not identify the affected routine or resource. No authentication or user interaction is required; successful exploitation interrupts appliance communications or runs attacker-supplied code.
