CVE-2020-5533Network attack vector

Browser script execution via crafted page

Published Feb 21, 2020 · Updated Aug 4, 2024

Cross-site scripting in NEC Platforms Aterm WG2600HS firmware 1.3.2 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute browser script. NEC and JVN do not disclose the affected request, input field, or missing output-encoding operation; they state only that an attacker can cause a user with product access to visit a crafted page. Exploitation requires user interaction, and the bounded impact is script execution in the browser of a user logged in to the device.
