Remote denial of service via crafted TCP packet

A denial-of-service flaw in Mitsubishi Electric MELSEC C Controller Module and MELIPC MI5000 allows remote attackers to interrupt service via crafted TCP packets. The affected controllers use VxWorks IPnet TCP/IP code that mishandles specially crafted packets, producing denial of service and, in some cases, malware execution. Exploitation requires network reachability to the controller Ethernet interface; the vendor does not publish a reproducible payload or more specific execution path.
