Improper certificate validation in affected AWMS Mobile App releases allows man-in-the-middle attackers to read encrypted traffic. The app accepts crafted X.509 server certificates without verifying their trust, allowing a spoofed server to terminate connections and expose sensitive information. Exploitation requires control of the network path, such as through a malicious wireless access point; the documented consequence is eavesdropping rather than service interruption.
