Authenticated administrator access via login SQL injection
Published Jan 8, 2020 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
SQL injection in PHPGurukul Small CRM 2.0 allows remote authenticated users to access an administrator account through the login page. The /crm/admin/index.php handler treats crafted email and password values as SQL syntax in its credential query, allowing a tautology to satisfy the check. A valid session or low-level account is the documented gate; successful exploitation grants administrator access to CRM data and functions.
