Unauthenticated SQL injection via direct query concatenation
Published Jan 8, 2020 · Updated Nov 11, 2025
SQL injection in PHPGurukul Hostel Management System 2.0 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL through the id parameter. In full-profile.php, the application concatenates $_GET['id'] directly into a registration-table SELECT query without parameterization. The endpoint requires no authentication, enabling database reads or writes and, when the database account permits file writes, operating-system command execution.
