Credential exposure in PCF Autoscaling in VMware Tanzu Application Service for VMs allows remote authenticated users to access its database. The component writes database connection properties, including its username and password, into application logs instead of redacting them. Access to those logs is required; exposed credentials permit unauthorized database access, with no reported integrity or availability impact.
