CVE-2020-5339Network attack vector

Administrator-session script execution via stored report content

Published Mar 25, 2020 · Updated Sep 17, 2024

Stored XSS in RSA Authentication Manager 8.4 P9 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute browser scripts. The Security Console accepts and stores arbitrary HTML or JavaScript in affected report content and serves it without sufficient neutralization when the report opens. Exploitation requires advanced Security Console privileges and another administrator to open the affected report, exposing that administrator's console session to injected code.
