Audit-log forgery via unsanitized SAML parameter
Published Jun 8, 2020 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Log injection in WhiteSource Application Vulnerability Management before 20.4.1 allows remote attackers to forge dashboard log entries. The /saml/login endpoint treats %0A%0D in the idp parameter as log-control delimiters, closing the active log and starting a new one. No authentication or user interaction is required, and the resulting one-line log can contain attacker-supplied data that falsifies audit records.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
