Administrator-session script execution via unescaped url_name
Published Mar 25, 2020 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Reflected XSS in PrestaShop Faceted Search before 3.5.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute script in an administrator's browser. The checkLinksRewrite method inserts an invalid url_name value into an administrative validation error without safe output encoding. Exploitation requires a low-privileged user to submit the crafted value and an administrator to view the resulting error; script runs in the administrator's PrestaShop origin and can act with that browser session's privileges.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
