Authenticated script execution via untyped attribute-group ID
Published Apr 20, 2020 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Reflected XSS in PrestaShop 1.7.6.1 through 1.7.6.4 allows remote authenticated users to run script in an administrator's browser. AdminAttributesGroupsController accepts id_attribute_group as an untyped request value and carries it into generated back-office links, allowing markup to be reflected. Exploitation requires low-privileged access and user interaction, and permits script execution in the affected back-office origin without interrupting service.
