Arbitrary action via unvalidated security-page URI
Published Apr 20, 2020 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Cross-site scripting in PrestaShop before 1.7.6.5 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary actions via a crafted security-compromised-page URI. The compromisedAccessAction controller URL-decodes the uri query parameter and passes it to tokenized-link generation without validating that it is a safe URL, so attacker-controlled markup is reflected into the rendered page. Exploitation requires a victim to open the crafted link; script then runs in that victim's browser context and can perform actions permitted by the session.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
