Cross-account data theft and modification via trusted identifiers
Published Mar 5, 2020 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Improper authorization in PrestaShop before 1.7.6.4 allows remote authenticated users to read and alter other customers' account data. CustomerAddressForm and CustomerForm accept attacker-controlled id_address and id_customer values and load those referenced records without verifying ownership. A customer account and form submission are required; successful exploitation exposes another customer's address or rewrites that customer's profile.
