Private project-name disclosure via unfiltered notification settings
Published Jan 13, 2020 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Incorrect access control in GitLab CE and EE 5.1 through 12.6.1 allows remote authenticated users to disclose private project names. The notification settings response includes projects for which the requesting user lacks read access instead of filtering those entries. Any authenticated account can retrieve names of otherwise inaccessible private projects; no content modification or service interruption is reported.
