Denial of service in IBM Db2 for Linux, UNIX, and Windows 9.7, 10.1, 10.5, 11.1, and 11.5 allows remote attackers to hang the server. The SSL handshake response hangs while processing an unauthenticated connection; IBM has not disclosed the responsible function or protocol operation. Network reachability to the TLS-enabled database service is sufficient, and the documented consequence is loss of service rather than data access or modification.
