Resource exhaustion in IBM Spectrum Protect Plus 10.1.0 through 10.1.7 allows remote attackers to crash the service with arbitrary data. IBM identifies arbitrary-data injection and parameter fuzzing as the trigger but has not disclosed the affected endpoint or parser. No authentication or user interaction is required, and successful exploitation interrupts service availability without reported data disclosure or modification.
