Service interruption via malformed UDP requests
Published Mar 24, 2021 · Updated Sep 16, 2024
Denial of service in IBM Elastic Storage Server 5.3.0 through 5.3.6.2 allows remote attackers to interrupt service via malformed UDP requests. IBM has not published the affected UDP service or the parsing error that mishandles the malformed datagrams. Network reachability to the affected UDP service is sufficient; no authentication or user interaction is required, and the reported impact is limited to availability.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
