Service interruption via missing HTTP header timeout
Published May 17, 2022 · Updated Sep 16, 2024
Denial of service in IBM DataPower Gateway allows remote attackers to interrupt service by sending invalid HTTP requests. The HTTP request handler lacks a header-processing timeout, so invalid requests retain processing resources instead of being terminated. Versions 10.0.1.0 through 10.0.1.4 and 2018.4.1.0 through 2018.4.1.17 are affected; no authentication or user interaction is needed, and the interruption is temporary.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
