Credential disclosure via Web UI XSS
Published Mar 4, 2021 · Updated Sep 16, 2024
Cross-site scripting in IBM Jazz Foundation used by IBM Engineering products 6.0.2 through 7.0.2 allows remote authenticated users to disclose credentials via the Web UI. The Web UI accepts attacker-controlled content and renders arbitrary JavaScript in a trusted session instead of neutralizing it. Exploitation requires an authenticated user to submit or encounter the crafted content, and the documented consequence is credential disclosure and altered page behavior rather than server-side code execution.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
