Sensitive-information exposure via unenforced HSTS
Published May 19, 2022 · Updated Sep 17, 2024
HSTS enforcement failure in IBM Security Identity Governance and Intelligence 5.2.4 through 5.2.6 allows remote attackers to read sensitive data. The virtual appliance does not enforce the Strict-Transport-Security response policy, leaving browser connections open to attacker-controlled downgrade and interception. Exploitation requires a man-in-the-middle position; the published impact is disclosure only, with no reported data modification or service interruption.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
