Published Jan 27, 2021 · Updated Sep 16, 2024

Privilege escalation in IBM Security Guardium 11.1 through 11.3 allows remote authenticated users to gain root access. The flaw is in the appliance traceroute command, but IBM has not disclosed the access-control operation that the command omits or mishandles.
