Credential disclosure via unencrypted relay password
Published Mar 30, 2021 · Updated Sep 16, 2024
Cleartext credential storage in IBM UrbanCode Deploy 6.2.7.9, 7.0.5.4, and 7.1.1.1 allows local users to read agent-relay credentials. The agent relay leaves a manually edited CODESTATION.KEYSTORE.PASSWORD value unencrypted after restart instead of encrypting it. Local access to the relay configuration is required, and the reported consequence is limited to credential disclosure.
