Sensitive-data interception via disabled HSTS

Published Jan 27, 2021 · Updated Sep 16, 2024

Information disclosure in IBM Cloud Pak for Security 1.4.0.0 allows remote attackers to intercept sensitive data through HTTP downgrade. The web interface does not properly enable HTTP Strict Transport Security, allowing browsers to accept an attacker-controlled insecure connection before HTTPS is established.
