Improper certificate validation in IBM Security Identity Governance and Intelligence 5.2.6 allows attackers to read sensitive data via MITM. The signup path in IBM Security Access Request apps validates a peer certificate incorrectly, but IBM has not disclosed the failed trust or hostname check. Exploitation requires unauthenticated attackers in an adjacent network position to intercept signup traffic; the bounded impact is sensitive-data disclosure.
