CVE-2020-4786Network attack vector

Authenticated SSRF via unauthorized server requests

Published Jan 27, 2021 · Updated Sep 16, 2024

Server-side request forgery in IBM QRadar SIEM 7.3.0 through 7.4.2 Patch 1 allows remote authenticated users to send unauthorized requests. The vulnerable request-handling path accepts attacker-controlled destinations and makes outbound requests from the QRadar system, enabling network enumeration or serving as a foothold for further attacks. Authentication is required, and impact is bounded to requests reachable from the QRadar host; IBM reports no direct service interruption.
