CVE-2020-4695Network attack vector

Data disclosure via unencrypted database replication

Published Mar 8, 2021 · Updated Sep 16, 2024

Cleartext database replication in IBM API Connect 10.0.0.0 and 10.0.1.0 allows remote attackers to read replicated data. The management server sends replication traffic over an unencrypted channel, exposing data in transit to an attacker able to observe that channel. Exploitation requires network visibility into replication traffic; the reported impact is limited to disclosure, without integrity loss or service interruption.
