CVE-2020-4674Network attack vector

Server-path disclosure through generated URLs

Published Jan 12, 2021 · Updated Sep 17, 2024

Information disclosure in IBM Workload Automation 9.5 allows remote authenticated users to obtain the server path from generated URLs. The URL-generation logic embeds the server's filesystem path in URLs instead of withholding this internal deployment detail. Access requires low privileges over the network, and the disclosed path aids follow-on attacks without directly modifying data or interrupting service.
