Memory corruption in IBM Aspera applications allows remote authenticated users to execute code or crash the service through HTTP fallback. IBM has not disclosed the affected function or the incorrect memory operation that processes HTTP fallback traffic. Exploitation requires a configuration exposing HTTP fallback and intimate system knowledge; successful attacks can execute arbitrary code or interrupt the service.
