Authenticated file disclosure via unsanitized log filenames
Published May 7, 2020 · Updated Jan 12, 2026
Path traversal in IBM Data Risk Manager 2.0.4 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to download arbitrary server files via a crafted URL. The /albatross/eurekaservice/fetchLogFiles endpoint accepts traversal sequences in the logFileNameList parameter without restricting the resolved file path. A valid application account is required, and successful exploitation discloses files readable by the server process.
