Credential disclosure via Web UI script injection
Published Jun 2, 2020 · Updated Sep 16, 2024
Cross-site scripting in IBM Planning Analytics Local 2.0 allows remote authenticated users to expose session credentials through its Web UI. IBM identifies the Planning Analytics Workspace Web UI as the affected locus but has not disclosed which input is accepted or how output encoding fails. An authenticated user must inject the script and a victim must render the affected interface; execution can alter UI behavior and disclose credentials in that trusted session.
