Channel-process crash via malformed data conversion

Denial of service in IBM MQ 7.1, 7.5, 8.0, 9.0 LTS, 9.1 LTS, and 9.1 CD allows remote attackers to crash an MQ channel process. The data-conversion logic processes a crafted message in a way that triggers SIGSEGV; IBM has not disclosed a finer code-level locus. No authentication or user interaction is required, but exploitation has high complexity and interrupts the affected channel process.
