Credential disclosure via Web UI script injection
Published May 19, 2020 · Updated Sep 17, 2024
Cross-site scripting in IBM InfoSphere Information Server 11.3, 11.5, and 11.7 allows remote authenticated users to disclose credentials. The Web UI renders user-supplied content as arbitrary JavaScript, but IBM has not disclosed the affected endpoint, parameter, or encoding failure. A victim must interact with the injected content in a trusted session, where the script can alter interface behavior and expose credentials.
