CVE-2020-4289Network attack vector

Session-cookie disclosure via missing HttpOnly flag

Published Apr 8, 2020 · Updated Sep 16, 2024

Information disclosure in IBM Security Information Queue 1.0.0 through 1.0.5 allows remote attackers to read session cookies. The web application issues session cookies without the HttpOnly attribute, leaving their contents accessible to client-side scripts. Exploitation requires script execution in a user's browser context; the direct consequence is disclosure of the ISIQ cookie, thereby exposing the session token.
