CVE-2020-4269Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Configuration disclosure via default ConfigServices password

Published Apr 15, 2020 · Updated Sep 16, 2024

Hard-coded credentials in IBM QRadar 7.3.0 through 7.3.3 Patch 2 allow remote attackers to download sensitive configuration sets. The Apache /configuration alias accepts a shared ConfigServices password from users.conf and serves archives containing encrypted credentials and host tokens. No existing account is required while the default credential remains enabled; retrieved host tokens provide access to other QRadar components.
