Credential disclosure via Web UI script injection
Published Apr 15, 2020 · Updated Sep 16, 2024
Cross-site scripting in IBM QRadar 7.3.0 through 7.3.3 Patch 2 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary JavaScript in the Web UI. IBM has not disclosed the affected Web UI field or handler, or the missing validation or output-encoding operation that permits the injected script. Exploitation requires an authenticated user to embed the script and another user to interact with the affected UI, exposing credentials within that trusted session.
