CVE-2020-4231Network attack vector

Authenticated command execution via hazardous input validation

Published May 28, 2020 · Updated Sep 16, 2024

Improper input validation in IBM Security Identity Governance and Intelligence 5.2.6 allows remote authenticated users to execute unauthorized commands. IBM identifies the virtual appliance as affected but has not published the input field, endpoint, or validation error that admits commands. A valid low-privilege account and network access are required, and the documented effect is limited to target integrity.
