Session hijacking via logout cookie reuse

Session fixation in IBM MobileFirst Platform Foundation 8.0.0.0 allows remote attackers to reuse a logged-out user's session. The application leaves its validation cookie valid after logout instead of invalidating it, so a copied cookie continues to authenticate requests. Exploitation requires possession of another user's retained cookie and grants access within that user's session, including its data and permitted actions.
