CVE-2020-4202Network attack vector

User impersonation through undisclosed DFE authentication flaw

Published Apr 23, 2020 · Updated Sep 16, 2024

Authentication bypass in IBM UrbanCode Deploy 7.0.3.0 and 7.0.4.0 allows remote authenticated users to impersonate another user. IBM has not published the DFE authentication logic defect that accepts one user's session as another identity. Exploitation requires DFE to be enabled and connectivity to the primary server; the resulting session acts with the impersonated user's permissions.
