CVE-2020-4150Network attack vector

Information disclosure via embedded reusable credentials

Published Jul 11, 2022 · Updated Sep 16, 2024

Hard-coded credentials in IBM Security SiteProtector System 3.1.1 allow remote attackers to obtain sensitive information over the network. The appliance embeds a reusable secret for inbound authentication, outbound component communication, or internal-data encryption, but IBM does not identify which path uses it. Exploitation is unauthenticated and network-reachable but requires high attack complexity; the published impact is disclosure without integrity or availability loss.
