Denial of service in IBM Db2 9.7, 10.1, 10.5, 11.1, and 11.5 allows remote attackers to crash the server with crafted packets. The Db2 server consumes excessive memory while processing the packets and terminates abnormally; IBM has not disclosed the packet fields or parsing locus. No authentication or user interaction is required, and the documented consequence is a Db2 process crash rather than data disclosure or modification.
