Authenticated data disclosure via unfiltered Excel export
Published Jan 12, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Improper authorization in Combodo iTop before 2.7.2 allows remote authenticated users to read out-of-scope data via Excel export. The portal Excel-export AJAX endpoint accepts a direct request and builds the export without applying the requesting user's portal scope filter. A valid portal account and direct endpoint access are required; the result exposes otherwise unauthorized records without modifying them.
